I thought I'd have a go at making conversion kits for the Saturn 1B to make Block 2 Saturn 1 models, after receiving several queries about such kits. I ended up making two distinct kits, reflecting the major variants of the Block 2 design.

The first one is for SA-5, which had a payload made from a Jupiter nosecone, while the second one is for SA-6 to SA-10 which carried dummy Apollo payloads. The only real visible varaition in the later 3 missions was the use of a smaller and lighter Instrument Unit ( the kit contains both versions ).

Both use the 1st stage from the Airfix kit, as well as other parts.

More pics once I've built the prototypes  :D

Is your site back up? I have been hoping to order some bits from you for a while.

All the best.

Crikey!  That's impressive!  Nice job.
