Hi everyone
My late dad was ment to make me a 1:48 shelby AC cobra model. I have the kit and all the parts in a pot, and have a rough idea how it goes together. Does anyone have any idea who the manufacturer could be. I am not to sure of the scale, it's sort of between 1:72 and 1:48. Sorry about the lack of information I can give you. If you need pictures, I can ale some.
Thanks
James

HI James - could you measure the total length of the body shell? That way you'll be able to work out the scale and I'm sure that will make the manufacturer easier to track down. The only mainstream Cobra kits I have seen are 1/24, 1/25 or 1/32 but I think Spark (and possible others) made a resin version in 1/43.

There was an American kit of the Cobra in 1/43 that had PE parts . I think it was Monogram .

Correct. The kits can still be found. I have seen a few at my local hobbyshop recently.

Here's a picture I have found on the internet: http://home.comcast.net/~ttocco183901MI/143MONOGRAMCOBRA.jpg

I am very sorry for your loss. Nice idea to build the car in your father's memory. I hope it brings back some good memories.

I have collected both kits from the series from my local hobbyshop. The other one is a Corvette:
