Hi all
This diorama is inspired by a photo published in a magazine devoted exclusively to the Battle of Normandy and the D Day.
It took me 5 months of hard work ....
Here is a series of pictures starting with the original photo which is at the origin of this project.

Very, Very impressive. We had a family friend who landed in a BARV on Juno on D-day, I would like to think it is the one in your model.

Good Lord, Remy! That is quite simply one of the finest dioramas that I have seen. The attention to detail is superb with there being many separate stories told across the diorama. I didn't view these pictures, I drank them in like a fine wine and I'm going back for another look. A really remarkable piece of work. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Marvellous. Just a couple of questions for you:

1. Did you use the Matchbox Firefly for the DD?

2. I thought that type of exhaust trunk on the Churchill was only used at Dieppe (but of course, there were no AVREs at Dieppe). Am I wrong?

Fantastic, really lovely diorama, it all works very well together. Great modelling, paint work and weathering. Congratulations on a first class effort.
