As transport is going to be an issue, my contributions will have to be compact and bijou. Therefore I thought I'd do the new 1/72 aircraft releases, the plan is as follows.

1/72 Red Arrows Hawk
1/72 Hawk 128 Indian AF
1/72 PR.XIX Swedish AF

Depending on time, maybe the 1/72 B (I) 8 Canberra as well.
Hopefully I'll make a start next week.

OK, I used to be indicisive, but now I'm not so sure. Given the plethora of new kit builds all over the forum, I've decided on something else for the SIG display........drumroll please...

The Saturn V!

Should be pretty easy to transport as it comes in stages and should add a bit of height to the display (and counterpoint Colin's big white pointy thing!).

Tune in next week as I change my mind again!

The Saturn builds glacial progress can be witnessed in the Saturn V GB. I have started on something for SMW - the 1/76 Matilda Hedgehog!

Progress so far;

Yikes! Ejector marks....

Working features - driver hatch open and closed;

The Hedgehog is ready for primer. The mortar and turret are not glued in place to aid painting. The right front track proved tricky to remove with my cak handed attempts with a razor saw, so the whole thing was replaced with plastic card. Despite not being my favourite scale for armour, the kit has gone together very quickly.

Started painting the Saturn V white using a rattle can. I managed to get 2 coats on today, I think several more will be required.

I've also started on the 1/72 Red Arrows Hawk and the Lunar Module set

Don't forget to drill out the smoke grenade dischargers.

Looking forward to seeing this one painted up.....Will you be weathering it much, Aussie Matildas were usually absolutely filthy, New-Guinea not being all that big on paved roads.

TIA & All the best
