Well to start things off. A kit from 2000 The 1/48 Supermarine Spitfire MKV111 will be shortly under construction.

Others more than likely to be built are

1/32 Jaguar E Type from 1964
1/72 GD F-111E from 1976
1/43 Subaru Impreza WRC2001.

I haven't built a large kit car since 1982 so we'll see how it goes.

Might build some different kits like The Rocket or Blue Tits etc if I come across them cheaply.

Anyway the first of the kits - Spitfire VIIIC

If the Airfix Buccaneer ever gets re released this year I'm going to build a Nellis 77 Desert Camo Bucc to display with the Nellis 77 Vulcan and place them on a mirror. Saves me having to keep picking it up to show people when they ask.

Time permitting I shall build the 1/48 sea harrier from the 90s and  if Ratch decides not to, the Nimrod from the 00's.
But please tell me before Nov!

I think my comment about building the Nimrod was fueled by too much Ale and bravado so I'll put it on the back burner for now.
I shall re visit the idea in Sept when I know my backlog of unfinished kits.

My next build once I've finally finished the Spitfire will be the Then and Now Typhoon and Spitfire.

I shall sneak the car builds into the Airfix car build GB.

I will be ordering the Wallace and Gromit Landrover kit from Airfix as we are a bit short on themed sets and will build that after the Typhoon.

Following that will come the Sea Harrier and F-111E.

Finished Spitfire

Airfix Spitfire VIII 81SQ RAF India 1944.

Xtracrylic paints and Ventura Decals as the kits ones had disappeared.

Nice kit to build and fits together very well.  Recommended.

Hand brushed of course.

I have ordered the Wallace and Gromitt Landy and will build that after the current project.
I will most probably drop the F-111 build.
