Apologies for the late start. Got the kit out of my stash today (the Airfix 1/72 Willys Jeep) and washed the sprues. Building will commence properly tomorrow.

Not much work done here either, just primed some of the main chasis parts so far.

Got the modelling bug again so I'm cracking on with my two unfinished and now late group builds

Just gave the primed chasis parts a coat of Hu86 (Light Olive).
Needs touching up where I held it then a second coat which I shall do tonight.

Dry brushed Hu56 (Aluminium) to bring out the detail on some of the engine, gearbox and exhaust.

Then glued the chassi to the main part of the body shell.

Yesterday I made up the grill, bonnet and dash section then primed it.
Gave that sub assembly a first coat of Hu86(Light Olive) this morning. Will give a second coat later today.

Since my last post the bonnet sub assembly has been painted Hu86 (Light Olive), the dashboard Hu33 (Matt Black) and I've made the headlights using clearfix.
Later tonight I shall paint the back of the lights Hu11 (Silver) and cement the bonnet in place.
I've also painted the wheels and interior and need to cement these in place.
Will post pics later tonight or tomorrow.

Everything has been painted now except for the windscreen frames.
I'll post some pics when I've cemented everything in place.

Pics of the Jeep so far.
Will apply the decals over the weekend and cement the fiddly bits in place and that's it complete!!

Very fine build, especially as it's in silly scale
