I'm going to be building my 1/72 Spitfire Mk Vc Tropical. I will be doing it as the SAAF version. I'm going to start it tomorrow

Is the aerial mast raked backwards or is it an optical illusion? The exterior colours look good, but the interior colour looks too brown. It could be a function of the light, but out of interest, what colour did you use?

For the interior colour I used Games Workshop Camo Green.

You might want to try something different in future:
Xtracrylic http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=XA1010
or
Xtracolour X11
or
Humbrol 78

are good matches.

I don't doubt you. From the photos, it varied from something like Olive Drab to US Interior Green (on my monitor). I've often wondered whether the Azure blue or Mediterranean Blue would have been sprayed into the wheel wells or not. I built my last Mid-East Spitfire with wheels-up so I didn't have to worry about it:)

I'm going to do another build for this GB. I'm either going to do my Heller 1/72 Spitfire Mk XVI (from the Airfix Spitfire 70th Anniversary set) or my 95th Rifleman, or maybe both. We'll see
