I'll be doing last years Club Edition Spitfires.
I intend to do one of each then put them on a stand. _________________ 60% of the time it works every time.

Actually there's going to be a change of build. I can't find my club spits so they must be in the loft and I can't climb ladders at the moment so it'll have to be something from the wardrobe I'm afraid.
I really want to do the P-38 Lightning or the new tool 1/72 Apache.
I think I'll do the Apache because I don't think I've seen one built here on the site and I'll do the Lightning later on during the year. _________________ 60% of the time it works every time.

Sorry for the late reply, I should start early next week.
Once the Sea Fury is done and off my workbench (should be this weekend) I can start on the Apache. _________________ 60% of the time it works every time.

Finally opened the box today (apologies for the late start!! ).
Just washed the kit parts in some soapy water and will let them dry so I can start properly tomorrow.
Sprues:
Sprues appear to be very cleanly moulded in a brown colour plastic. No visible flash that I can see but I have noticed some ejector pin marks in the seats which will need to be filled before I even start on the cockpit.
Boxart, decals and instructions:
Decals look to be nicely printed and in register.
Next update will be in a couple of days when the cockpit is all painted up. _________________ 60% of the time it works every time.

Apologies for the lack of speed of this build. I haven't done much model making for about 2 weeks but I have started to paint the cockpit on this. The painting should be finished on Sat then I'll get the instrument decals on Sun and maybe play with a wash or drybrush.
I'll aim for the start of next week for first lot of build piccies.
The building sequence will take a bit of planing for this so I can make sure my brush can reach all the areas that need painting and to make sure I can apply the decals easily. _________________ 60% of the time it works every time.

Cockpit has all been painted up. I tried using the decals for the instrument panels but I couldn't get them in position so I decided to dry brush the details.
I did take a pic of what I've done so far but my battery died shortly after so I'll post these tomorrow. _________________ 60% of the time it works every time.

Here's a pic of what I've painted so far:
Fuselage halves went together today and the join looks ok with only the tail area needing some attention. _________________ 60% of the time it works every time.
