Looks great, the mottling is very well done, that must have been time consuming to paint.

Oh! I just love your models.

A what-if or a actual aircraft in unusual marking..
They are both great.

Jesper.

Airfix Modern Airfield Set with a Chieftain in place of the supplied Scorpion. Scatter materials from Woodland Scenics. A lot of figures are supplied with the kit but I didn't like them, I'll find something better at Hendon hopefully.

Me too. I didn't like the supplied figures, more suited to warfare, so I'm going to look for some ground support crew or RAF Regiment when I am at Hendon.

Excellent finish on the Harrier Colin, extremely impressive if it's brushed!

Hi George

'Fraid not. Two light coats of Humbrol rattle can Sea Grey (Hu27), mask with bluetac, two light coats of Humbrol rattle can Dark Green (Hu30).

The 'proper' colours are Dark Green Satin (Hu163) and Dark Sea Grey Satin (Hu164), but I didn't have any.

My colours look totally wrong until I apply a couple of coats of neat Klear by airbrush. This darkens everything down and applies a light sheen. If it looks a bit too glossy, just pretend it has been raining.

May not suite the purists but works for me!

Colin

It looks fantastic anyway Colin, certainly impressed me but then I'm probably the opposite of a purist!
