I have 2 kits of both the Aston Martin DBR9 and Jaguar XKR.

I want to paint the first ones as Airfix intended, but then, hoped to paint the second ones in other schemes.

I have tried a brief search of the internet, to no gain as yet.

Does anyone know of aftermarket decal sets that are available?

Thanks in advance

I guess it depends on whether or not you want to depict an actual car paint scheme or just 'generic' race cars.  There used to be sheets of 'motorsport-related sponsor' type decals available eg - Shell/Castrol/Dunlop/Britax - possibly Scalextric related.

I have often thought that there ought to be a marketing opportunity for kit/decal manufactures to get together and build kits for something like the DTM or Australian V8's where you only need 2 or 3 kits of the base cars, but could produce multiple decal sets for each car type.

Ian's right  -  have a look at the slot car retailers on the 'net  -  there's a lot of 'liveries' available. Pendle Slot Racing, Scale Models, Getslotted, to name a few.

Depends how brave you are: you could try printing your own.
