I am deciding what to build. I quite like the look of the BF109 but after reading about the bad fitting on the cowling I am unsure. Would you say it would be easyish to over come? _________________ Cheers

Might be a slow start for me, I need to clear some space on the work bench. Probably doing a Spitfire with a motorised prop.

Can I be a late entrant? I picked up a cheap 1/24 Hurricane at Telford, the engine was started by someone before I bought it...

| I fancy taking part in this group build I have a Spitfire MK 1 in the stash but have a few other group builds outstanding. I might have to consider completing some of my late builds before starting another kit.. |

I found a smashing picture of Hurricane LK-A in all black nightfighter only to discover its a IIA rather than the Mk I supplied in the box _________________ and was Jerusalem, builded here

I've found another site with these markings (except the spinner is blue, not red) captioned as a Mk I
http://www.paulnann.com/Make.asp?...rricane&ImageRef=pn_w4931.jpg
I know the pic is a Mk XIIb, but could it be painted to represent a MK I I'd love to do a black 'un _________________ and was Jerusalem, builded here

Nice - the Hurricane would've been my second choice - though a MkIId tankbuster - something a little different. It could change - I've pulled out the 190 box and the parts audit shows about 3 much needed pieces missing.... _________________ the evolution of the modern car is such it now ressembles a toaster. |

Yes, not nice at all - I'll have a rumage as I suspect they've been put in a 'safe' place. IE 'safe' as in so safe you'll never find it until the build is well and truly finished.
If this changes I'll update. Otherwise it will have to be the Hurricane, Spit or Stuka - all of which I know are fully complete. I've decided whatever I build - it won't be box stock as I'd like to do an upgrade to make it interesting and just to be different.
