Here are pics of the HMS Fiji conversion I did in 2006.  (Many thanks to Davecov for his advice and the pics he emailed me of his work-in-progress.)  I copied the camouflage scheme from one of Alan Raven's Warship Perspective books, but the colors aren't correct RN; they are what I had in the paint locker at the time.

Hope you enjoy.

Thanks, Remy...
I used the hull from an HMS Tiger kit but pretty much everything else is from HMS Belfast. The hangar area of the superstructure was made with plastic sheet, as was the miships section of the upper deck. I'll have to get a better camera before I can take more detailed pics, I'm afraid...but when I do I'll put more up.

Lovely work here, I am part way through this conversion myself (Tiger /Belfast) as donor kits and using Dave's conversion article for a Colony Class cruiser. I am intending mine to represent Trinidad, but will post my pics here when complete. I am going to use PE as well as I want her to sit alongside my Belfast and eventually my Tiger to show the cruiser development over the years.
