I have been tempted by and ordered the 1/350 Type 45 Destroyer and H.M.S. Illustrious. This means I will now have 4 x Type 45s and 3 x H.M.S. Illustrious! I think the time may have come for me to investigate my stretched, Type 45 based, County Class Cruiser for the 21st Century. :pirate:

A big Merlin for £20 is very tempting indeed, but I must resist - spent far too much at Telford.

I'm in the process of selling most of the "Black Friday" kits I bought last year along with another 280-odd kits! Definitely giving "Black Friday" a miss this year!!

I've sent my list of kits to a few shops for their valuations. If one meets my price then they will go as a single joblot. I do hope so because I don't really want to spend a lot of time selling them in bits and bobs on eBay right now.

Having said that, should I get no good offers then I will sell a large share of them on eBay as I have a big credit on my eBay account.

Ordered the Merlin, 1:48 Gnat and twin Land Rovers, that'll be it for me, the Merlin was the big draw (that I haven't got), been waiting for an affordable price on it, so jumped in before items started going out of stock (the VW Beetle was out of stock when I started looking, then came back available). The Javelin and the 1:350 ships are very well priced, but I already have one of each, and no reason for another. Bit annoyed that the Spitfire Vb is a fiver, after shelling out on 3 of the club kit last month for more than that. Now to see if the order turns up before Black Friday... 2016.

I don't think there are as many items up for grabs as last year? Still, some terrific bargains like the Sherman and landing craft - £4.99 and 'B' type Omnibus for only £9.99. I couldn't resist a few things including the Lancaster at £12.99 and the 1:48 Fury at £4.99. You know the drill by now. They get delivered, they get re wrapped in :santa: paper and I go overboard on the BIG day feigning surprise, and incredulity at how they knew that was exactly what I wanted!!! :Whistling:

I agree not as much as last year and some of the items are from last years sale as well . I got a feeling they will add different stuff over the week

I'm pretty sure that some items have been added since I ordered this morning. This will be quite annoying when I see something I want, but it is too late to incorporate with a previous order. This will prevent me from ordering anything else. Roll on Black Friday 2016 - I have my eye on one of those £15.00 Shackeltons.

I've been suckered in. I almost had a splurge on amazon last week too.Went for:

1/72 Air Assault Gift Set
1/48 Coyote
1/48 Warrior
1/48 Merlin

all for under £40  Could have been tempted by more, but I'm not buying any more models until I clear out the stash. Not even if the prices are good, really good, or even stupid. Definitely not. At my current build rate I have about four years worth of builds, even with my tiny stash.

Did I mention I'm not buying any more? :naughty:

Finally got in about 4pm only to find that my work IT security blocked the payment page! But fortunately the Merlin, Mauretania and QE were all still there when I got home. Now just need to find some 845/846 Sqn aftermarket decals for the Merlin (or print my own I suppose, I'd guess the differences are only the black bits anyway)

Good deals here on the US site also. However, I need to work down my stash and I have plenty of good kits, Airfix and otherwise, to build. Gonna pass.
