Maybe it will be delayed a month to reflect delivery times from Airfix

And remember it's only two days until the £4.99 starter sets at Aldi! :deer:

From this month's Airfix Model World, there'll be a Dogfight Double Defiant/Dornier combo (both new tool).

Thanks for the heads up but I never see the offers in Aldi. Maybe the bigger stores?

From RMWeb Forum. The Hornby 2015 range was announced on the 17th.

Quote:
Airfix_logo.jpg
Airfix will benefit from three major anniversaries through the course of 2015 as the centenary anniversaries of World War I continue, we recognise the Battle of Waterloo taking place 200 years ago and the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
Models reflecting these episodes in our history will be available ahead of the key dates, and allow the modeller to develop a story around these anniversaries.

Coupled with the comprehensive support that the Humbrol range offers we will continue to increase our distribution globally.

From Spring Summer 2015 we will be TV advertising our Quickbuild cars as we bring in the Lamborghini Aventador, Bugatti Veyron, and Mclaren P1 cars to join the growing range.

These super cars have proved of global interest and are taking the Airfix brand into new outlets across the globe.

Quote:
Nat Southworth, Sales & Brand Director said

The Airfix range will benefit from a period of anniversaries that are relevant and of interest to a broad spectrum of modellers. We also expect to see an increased engagement with the Quickbuild product globally as we roll out our range of super cars.

That had a large bin full at Aldi Blackwater. Bagged a Hurricane, Spitfire and Tomahawk.

For Waterloo it would be nice if Airfix re-issued the 54mm figures.

Without those that doesn't leave Airfix many models to commemorate Waterloo with. I doubt they'd cut new tools for some kits.
That leaves the 1/76 poly figures, Waterloo farm house, 1/12 Napoleon figure.

I always forget him.
Rather a pro-French bias then in those kits.

Yes, let's have 1/12 Wellington and Sharpe to go against them :P

I go along with that. Strange there was never a Nosey in the 1/12 range.

Sounds like diorama sets to me, so probably the farmhouse and figures so you can recreate your own battle. If the fueler is an Albion then we'll probably get a BoB airfield diorama set.
