Not sure what scheme I'll be using yet. I do have the old Esci sheet somewhere if I can find the blessed thing.
If time pre-assembly painting should start tonight. _________________ Bubbly! |

Turret interior with Hu78, engines I've used Hu53 Gunmetal.
I couldn't resist completing the undercarriage construction. Tires in Tank Grey with flats already filed.

I found the Esci decal sheet and decided to use those of N5331 as I don't have a trainer.
I've found a couple of photos of her with 6 AOS with '5' on the nose. One of these, an 3/4 overhead shot also shows what seems to be a Polish checkerboard. However due to the light in the photo it and the 5 are not clear. Anyone help to clarify this please?
Didn't have much time over the weekend but managed to complete the fuselage sides and put the wings together.

Here's photos of the weekends progress:
First two coats of Hu24:
Then two of Hu29:
I have found that the Bronze Green from the Revell Aqua Color range looks better to me for use as Dark Green. What do you think?
One coat of gloss varnish and preparation for decal application amassed:
Should be marked tonight and maybe even Mattcoted. |

And the finished article!
I may have to find another just to use the pre-war decals on the Esci sheet. |

Very nice work there, hewman100, but why did you change the dark earth to grey please?
Anyway we will have quite a collection of Ansons between us all by the time the GB is completed.
Keep at it.

Tis Dark Earth as shown in previous pics. Probably the camera flash/mirror washing it out. I'll take some more with a more natural light. _________________ Bubbly! |
