Just noticed this yesterday after I got my Anson out of the stash to start.

I started a Beaufighter instead, so will leave this until the GB starts.

Anyway, I shall be doing the MK1 No.31 Air Navigation School, RCAF 1941 in glorious techniyellow.

Cheers

Dave

I don't normally do pilots, but the interior will look a little bare.

So I have done the crew (1 is for my Hurricane)

Cheers

I have kleared the windows, painted the inside struts and sealed with a dunking of Klear

The Interior was painted, cockpit assembled and various crew attached to thier seats.

I have modified to turret (removed the ring) so that it can be painted off line and fitted after the body has been assembled.

I fitted a strut across the fuselage for the turret to sit on when assembled

Cheers

Dave

How will you stop the turret from sinking too low

Hi Ratch

I have glued in a cross member for the turret to sit on (just visible in the above pic)

I have now glued the two halves together and added the cockpit glazing.

Lots of filler applied around the glazing. Now sanding and masking and we are ready for the wings

Cheers

Dave

All the wings are assembled.

Now just need to sand down the filler mask and paint.

Pics to follow (When the batteries are charged)

Cheers

No. It really didn't take a fortnight to charge the batteries. Christmas got in the way a bit. I will now be concentrating on this build.

All assembled bar the engines and turret. Now for the masking then spraying that lovely colour.

Cheers

Dave
