Log onto the website. If your payment went through OK it will tell you that you are a club member.

After several attempts to purchase an online membership my shopping basket kept showing empty. I have contacted Airfix about this twice but have had no reply to my messages. Does anybody know what is going on with their website or have an alternative contact for them? I'm getting very frustrated with this because I want to join to get the new club kit before they run out of them.

I tried 13 times all failed. But they were always promt
in replying to my email queries.

I ended up getting my Club Membership by telephone, I
opted for the Postal Version in the end.

Thanks Barry. I found a telephone number on their site and managed to successfully place an order by phone.

Having thought about joining the Airfix club on and off for more years than I can remember, I've finally taken the plunge and joined.

Partly I think because of the very positive feel about Airfix now that Hornby are in control and looking solid.

This years official list of new and re-new kits is quite impressive given the short time they have had to get into gear and start producing.

Lets hope we can hold onto this optimism for a good while.

Thanks Ratch , & Feanor
I'm not so sure about the kit though, I'm more for 1/72 or 1/76 myself. That's why I'm happy about the Canberras this year, and the Nimrod too ...  1/48 is nice to model - I've done them for other people - but too large to display.

I'd model in 1/144 if I could see the blighters .... but I only want to build a very small few in 1/48   .. but who knows it might include a Spitfire yet !

Crikey that's a big box !   for the Spitfire.

Spitfire decals show same problem as seen on others. Problem is  manifest on the right hand edge of all items when viewed under a magnifier.  Someone needs to clean and adjust their printer.

Anyone got their replacements ?
Are they any better ?

Depends how bad the originals were, my replacements were better than the originals but still not perfect  - same problems on the right edge of the markings.

Best

I also got replacements. They were better, but still had the smudging.
