Here we go- Job done: better photos than usual as the sun shone on Northampton today for the first time in what feels like 6 years!
I've enjoyed this GB & found it very encouraging. Can't wait to see the other builds already _________________ --.. --- -. . / -.-. .- .-.. .-.. / .-- --- --- -.. |

Congratulation with your model, George.
That was quick!
My plan to use household foil, instead of paint on my two airplanes,
will take considerably longer.
I haven’t even found a suitable glue yet.
With kind regards from Jesper. |

Hello Colin It was actually Dancho's demo build that inspired me to do the foil treatment.
But here in Denmark, the shops to supply our hobby are few, and far between.
I know of only one shop likely to have the foil glue and I haven’t had time yet to make a visit.
So at the moment I’m experimenting with the glues and various floor polishes I already have, to see if I have something useable.
All the best from Jesper. |

I am told that spray-on photo adhesive like this:
http://www.dickblick.com/zz237/07/
can be used instead of the Microscale product. I haven't tried it myself, so I can't describe the technique precisely, but you can read this thread (Google is my friend) and find at least one guy who prefers it.

Great build of what looks like a great kit. It's going to the top of my "to get" list. _________________ “Build what YOU want, the way YOU want to, and above all, have fun.”

Another Mig 15 screaming in. Bought in an antique market on Sunday - completed by Thursday night - probably a personal 'best', at least in terms of time.
