As there's just under a week to go I thought I'd post some pics.
Box
sprues
instructions
and decals.
Not sure which I'll be building but I might go for a French one. _________________ So many kits, so little time |

I'm sure I built one of those in the 70s.
My memory may be failing me, but did the very early kits have transparent strips to fit inside the fuselage to make the windows?

Mine hasn't. It just has a row of holes where the windows are.
Not much to report so far but I've assembled the wings and fitted the fuselage doors. _________________ So many kits, so little time |

Hi Tim
Judging by the box art this is a later boxing. I was probably thinking back to when the kit was first released with the G-BOAC Landor scheme only.
Looking forward to seeing how you get on. Are you building wheels up or down?

Probably wheels down as I don't have a stand for it, although I suppose I could hang it from the ceiling. _________________ So many kits, so little time |

So far I've assembled the airframe. I've painted the inside of the windows black as there's nothing to see inside.
Filling and rubbing down next!
I bought a couple of cans from Halfords for the paintwork as I don't fancy painting all that white with a brush. _________________ So many kits, so little time |

I think I've got a bit of 'fillerphobia' at the moment. As I've nearly finished the Magister I'll have a go at the Conc this week, promise. _________________ So many kits, so little time |

Hi Tim
No worries, I think we are all feeling a little intimidated by the kits and the colour scheme.
This is the first civilian aircraft I have built in thirty-five years and mine may yet be finished in wrap around camo chasing a Migski 95 Dingbat over the skies of Eastern Europe!
That said, now that I have put most of the plastic together I am getting quite fond of it.
Take your time, the result will be worth it.
Best

I painted the landing gear last night and had a look at the wingroot gaps. _________________ So many kits, so little time |
