Lots of pictures of the Rapide (exterior and interior) can be found on this site.  Click on the "Aircraft" button on the left hand side then find the Dragon in the list - lots of other aircraft to look at too!

Quite a lot of Rapides on display at Modelkraft - here are the ones that I saw.

All pics are clickable thumbnails leading to hi-res images.

I'd forgotten I had these, but here are some pics of a Rapide at Yeovilton Air Day last year.

All pics are clickable thumbnails leading to hi-res images.

Showing my ignorance (which is unforgivable for a student of aeronautics), but what is the little propeller thing on the port wing for?

I'd guess it was a wind-powered dynamo.

You can order them from Aeroclub.....But I forgot!

If you were to pick a set up, I'd be glad to trade one for, say.....Some Tigermoth wheels!

All the best

Quick question before I seal the canopy up.....What is the box on the port side of the cockpit bulkhead behind the pilots left shoulder.....Is it a radio, if so should I have painted it black?

TIA & All the best

I believe its meant to be a halon fire extinguisher, and as such needs to be painted green.
