XN923 and Richard threads have been set up. Waiting for Adrian to join up as he had a duo of Fw190's in his bag yesterday!

On another topic......

Can anybody tell me what the nearest RLM numbers are to

50% HU28 + 50% HU65

And

60% HU65 + 40% HU64

I'd rather buy the ready mixed xtracrylic RLM paints than faff about trying to get the right shade. I'm slightly colour blind in one eye anyway so I will never get the right shade mixing it myself.

I wasn't going to join in until I got a few other things out of the way, but the pressure from Tom ...

So, I have an F-8 that's in a bag, a D-9 in a bag (missing prop and spinner ) and an A-8 from the Aces series ("Pips" Priller).

Might as well get them all done - they're nice, easy builds.

There are two things that I'll do with all of these:
1. True Details cockpit; and
2. Falcon Clearvax canopies.

The A/F, in particular, has a dubious canopy/fuselage "panel line". It should be straight, but it curves upwards towards the rear, so that the canopy appears to be shorter than it should be.

It makes it easier to find that way. But beware of toppeling if your beast is stacked upon 1/72 kits! Its a risk assessment world!
