Hi XN - did you already make a start on your Mossie project?

Sorry, the Gauntlet for the Africa group build took me way longer than I thought it was going to (only finished it last night). I've got a lot of commitments on at the moment so I'm considering whether to build something a bit simpler or sit this one out altogether. It's a shame as I really wanted to build the Mossie and had got a lot of aftermarket parts for it, but I'm not sure I can do it justice in the remaining time.

You aren't constrained to the alloted two months XN923 you can overrun by a considerable margin as quite a few about here do.

As hewman says, you've got the rest of time to do your build - the thread will just be moved down to Group Builds Plus, so if you can't make a start til later, don't let it put you off...

I'm sure we'd all still like to see your Mossie...

Thanks. I'll see how I go then, but I won't even be able to start for a little while - I've got a review build to do and books to edit I'm afraid...

Dear all, further to my previous, respectfully, I wish to withdraw from the GB. I just have too much on and with the door left open I will always be tempted to make a start on the Mossie instead of working on something I should be doing. I'll definitely do it as my next unpressured (i.e. not GB, review or other commitment) build and will put pics in the gallery.

Some superb models already, keep up the good work all.
