Thanks guys,
Still deciding between Ju88, P-61 and if fighter bombers are an option a Hs 129 and mossie. Bought all these old boxings off a guy on TradeMe for a reasonable price

Inclined to go with the P-61 cause noone else seems to be building it, always nice to have a variety

Will confirm tho

Is the P-61 not a fighter, then, dues to it's designation? I'd have thought that B's and A's would be OK but I don't know if the lack Widow was a true bomber.... (I just don't know enough about the subject aircraft!).

Thats a valid point! Hadn't really thought about that one.
I thought since it was multi engines, but then again I'm usually wrong? lol.
It is big enough to be a bomber I would say
Can someone clear up the eligablity?

Thanks

Thanks Luke.

Sadly, I think it's not eligible as it's really a fighter...

Is there a second choice?    Ju88, maybe?

SM.79, another one! This is turning into the year of the Hawk! My kit decals are OK, but I won't be using them for my build in the Africa GB. If you want them let me know.
Best
Rich.

I do really like the look of that but I don't think I really have the resources to do it. Like the decals and... well just the decals but anyhoo lol

Do you have more information on that aircraft?

The camo scheme would be a hangover from the Spanish Civil war in which these were used in ’36 – ’39 by Spain.  The biggest giveaway to year is the fin tricolour.  That would date it to 1940 – after the Spanish civil war and before hostilities with the RAF where the fin was changed to the white Cross of St Michael and the House of Savoy crest to avoid confusion with the RAF standard colours - also on the tail.

This aircraft would be of 205 squadron of the 41 Italian Air Wing (Group).

Interesting history!
How were you planning on doing the decals?

I've already lined these up for a reprint using higher res images and more detailed insignias.

I know this is asking a lot but might there be a chance of me being able to buy a copy off you?

Buy them?  It's an easy print.  I'll send a PDF copy to you as I've already done them. If you don't have a colour printer them I can forward.  No trouble.

I've (tried) to understand this whole printing decals thing before..
I have a good ( i'd like to think so, we use it to print photos ) colour printer. I need to buy some sort of decal paper?
Thanks a lot! I really appriciate the help.

Yes - you just need decal paper and Klear to seal it.  You'll have to trim them but I think it's better than using the original kit items which date to '79. PM'd decals to you.
