Does anyone know any more about this:

http://www.shipmodels.co.uk/660_1_105075470.html

I'm guessing it's a repop of the ICM kit?

That was in the 2008 catalogue, but was cancelled. This presumably was a reissue of Special Navy kit number 72001.

Airfix Stock Notification

The Airfix product Hawker Siddeley Buccaneer S2B/S2-C-D S 1:72 (A03072) is now back in stock.

You can view it at http://www.airfix.com/airfix-products/a ... 72-a03072/

I only report what I received. They don't email to tell you their entire stock has now gone onto distributors or out to people who back ordered it.

The Hawk and Sea Harrier FA2 is also out of stock but that hasn't stopped Airfix popping them through my letter box via the club scheme.

Apparently a couple of people had stock notifications saying the WW1 Female Tank was in stock, although 24 hours apart, and it still says out of stock and I haven't received a notification. Wonder what it'll be like - more than enough extra parts to fix the problems with the original and have a proper Mk 1, but wait and see.

Interesting they're re-releasing the Battle - got a couple of the Bilek re-issues in the post today, badly need replacement canopies for both

The Zero pilots seem to be bad shots, as I can't see any evidence of hits on the Shagbat.
Of course the Zeros will quickly overtake and then be at the mercy of the gunner in the nose.

Yet again brilliant art work.

I wonder if the transfer sheet will have the footprint walkway markings?

Just seen an interesting picture on the website.  Shows the BBMF set with PZ's camo but LF's serial and sqd codes.  Ive also noticed that the new spit mk 1 sqd codes have been applies to P7.

Here's the pic.
http://www.airfix.com/airfix-products/n ... sortorder=

Surely this is an error as they have LF in the five fighter set, they wouldnt duplicate it would they? tut tut

Yup!

For those wondering if the Walrus made it back... it did, that aircraft was operated by 1700 NAS, HMS Emperor and was involved in the rescue of a Hellcat pilot of 896 NAS who, on July 8th 1945, crashed off Car Nicobar and was picked up 200 yards from Japanese forces. The pilot of the Walrus was Lieutenant A.F Lawrence, RNVR and they recovered to HMS Ameer.

Another piece of excellent artwork by Adam.
