Probably new decals and paint schemes for assorted kits.

The 100 Group -> Halifax idea could just turn out to be a decal option on the reissue coming this year, catalogue says 158 & 78 Sqn options, but they have changed their minds before. Another possibility could be schemes for a 1:48 Mosquito VI (5 squadrons under 100 group according to wikipedia) or NF.XXX (2 squadrons) reissue.

Other guesses:
Pacific War book could be a new tool 1:72 P-40E, they took the old one out of the catalogue not long after the Tomahawk release
Operation Compass, either a new scheme for the Vickers or Matilda tanks or a starter set scheme for a Blenheim
The full title of the yellow book is Hacks - Utility Planes of the Mighty Eighth, review here, mainly mentions P-47, P-51, B-17 and Bostons, a new tool 1:72 P-47 wouldn't be a surprise

The Pearl Harbor to Coral Sea has me interested- I looked up what sort of book it was on Amazon, markings and camo for IJN and USAAC/USAAF, USN/USMC. Maybe a new Val, Buffalo, and P40E? Or a Kate? Or Dauntless?

An 'out there' suggestion: We're getting a new 1/72 B-17G with a 100 Group fortress III decal option.

Something a little more likely: The new mould metal wing Hurricane I (Series 2) will have a Desert scheme option so a Vokes filter can be included along with the Rotol propeller.

New decal option for the Gladiator as that aircraft seemed quite prominent in Operation Compass according to the top book in the pile? Recently read it after seeing it in our local library.

The Blenheim is the key to the Compass book. The Hacks and Utility Planes may refer to the Tiger Moth. 100 Group could be anything from Mosquito to Halifax or Lancaster. My vote is with the Lancaster. Pearl Harbor to Coral Sea - most likely A6M2. Those are my guesses.

From memory the shot of the Blenheim on the cover of the Operation Compass is about the only one in the book. Most of the photos are of Regia Aeronautica aircraft as it is mainly a view of the conflict from the Axis side. Maybe an Airfix Italian aircraft - though I very much doubt it.

Possible. The SM-79 appears from time-to time. It's been a long time since we've seen the Fiat G-50, though.

The G-50 is another kit in need of replacement. As there are only the AML kits otherwise this would be a nice new tool to see.

New mould 1/72nd Devastator with pre-war yellow wing markings and Midway markings.

New mould Buffalo in 1/48th - RAF and RAAF colours.

New mould Lysander too perhaps?

Another teaser from the Airfix Facebook page;

Quote:
Delivery day at Airfix HQ. You're going to have to wait until 2015 to see what's inside though…

Maybe a new CR42 - would do both Battle of Britain and North Africa. Wide choice of markings for further kits; Italian, German, Spanish Civil War, Sweden, Hungarian, Belgian, RAF.

That picture of polychips isn't much to go on is it?

Talk by Airfix at RNAS Yeovilton 24 June 2014.

Quote:
Simon Owen Airfix Researcher did mention that there will be two subjects next year that will not be what a rival company would produce as they are not mainstream. Also stated for you detectives out there that he went to a Norwegian museum to measure an aircraft.

Clearly the "S" shaped packing materials are a clue.
