The 1:24 Typhoon and Fw190 are in stock and for £89.99 seems exceptional value as they would qualify for free postage as well.

Pity I'm sort of bereft of funds ATM.

Succumbed to getting another Typhoon, had the Focke Wolf on original release so its time to bring back some memories. Ordered at 10.15 yesterday and just arrived, notice the combo is now out of stock. Finally got to use my birthday card code so very chuffed at £76.49 for the pair.

These are tremendous value offers but I can't help feeling that, like the pre-Christmas clear out, it devalues the brand. All we need to do is sit around and wait for VJ Day, the Queen's Birthday, Halloween, Christmas, etc.

I think that's the frightening thing, there are quite a few new tools included.
So say want a Dakota, then wait 6 months for a half price sale.
One good thing about it, is that they are selling direct to punters at half price, rather than flogging it to Hannants etc for a lot less.

I tried buying the Typhoon and Fw 190 bundle two days ago but the checkout procedure failed. Decided to leave it for 48 hours to ensure the order hadn't gone through before trying again - it hasn't gone through. Now I have the chance to buy it again I have decided not to as common sense prevailed! :geek:

Sadly this is very true, I have not bought any of the Airfix new releases this year because I have been educated by Airfix to wait and buy half price in one of the many sales. This business model is just not sustainable :(

Oh dear - "accidentally" ordered the Typhoon / FW bundle on Wednesday. They came today in the biggest box known to man!

Managed to hide 'em in the garage and smuggle 'em upstairs before SWMBO found out!! Got to explain the £90 deficiency in bank funds now :?

I was tempted by the Dakota and Higgins boat but have none of the paint in stock I need to get the free postage.
Bought an inflatable sofa for the tent instead 8-)

I have gone for the half priced Dak and a pair of Higgings boats to go with my D-day vac form build later in the year!

Yeah... So I succumbed to the 1/24 Typhoon & Wulf bundle, then thought whilst I'm at it I may as well go for the B.II Lanc and Bomber re supply set! - The fact I still had a 15% discount code from a Airfix Club birthday card made it even sweeter! :D :D

Eeek the Typhoon contains a lot of plastic...

Need to work my way up to this, time to add it to the stash.
