Hi all,

I apologise for the quality of the pictures. I was a bit rushed. I'll try and get better ones tomorrow. The Shackleton was in a glass display case, hence the reflections.

Anyway, all these were on display in the Airfix tent today. Enjoy.

Thanks a bunch for these! All I saw over the weekend was a low-angle version of your last photo on Airfix's Facebook page, and I got all excited at the sight of the Shack sprues.

Those test shot builds look very sharp, especially the Stuka. Gorgeous!!! It's a shame the Shack was in a case but beggars (me!) can't be choosers.

Thanks. The tent was easy to miss. I had to hunt to find it.

Thanks for sharing these, lots to look forward to. I find it interesting that recent shots of the Shackleton sprues plus the info on the Airfix website has shown no more of the AEW radar mounted under the belly. Were Airfix trying to put the frighteners into Revell I wonder? :)
Steve.

Or they've done all the design work on it and it could either be a separate release in a future year or like the Valiant, an addon parts set. Though as there's more frames piled up on the side, it could still be in there as an undocumented part.

The AEW is included as one decal option, as is one MR2

Both decal options are for the MR.2:

Thanks for posting this. Some very cool stuff there. Looks like Airfix is in it to win it.
