Ayup All...

Well, At least there won't be all that much work to Basic Construction then.

I may have to send out for a Tanker of Halfords Appliance White though !

Does anyone have a picture of what 5 1/72 aircraft look like on one of these 5-aircraft stands?

I'm thinking they might look a bit 'busy'.

Ayup Beau...

There should be pics of Stuzzars Spits on one at Hendon this Year I think.

Here you are, it is a bit of a tight fit with Spitfires and could be more so what with the Interceptors raised tail and drooping wings.

Ayup Bruv

It should be simple enough to put longer/shorter spacers on top of each prong in place of those supplied with the base

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with :thumb:

Cheers

I'm wondering if a nice little V formation would look nice.

Ayup Beau...

Maybe so. I was thinking of a Left and right 'Break' of four of them, two each side, and the Central Angel carrying straight on in a 'Fan' must have a look at some Red Arrows Airshow Manouvres... Or a 'Curl' like a wave from one side to the other, with maybe a partial Invert...

It's not hard to make your own stands to meet your own requirements, you know.

Note that an Angel Interceptor squadron consists of only three (not five) aircraft. There would be one angel pilot in the aircraft ready for immediate deployment, followed by two others who would be lifted up in their seats to the waiting aircraft.

Here are Harmony and Rhapsody waiting to be lifted up.

Ayup Steve...

Yep, I knew about the Three and Two ships, But it's an Airfix Display, Innit ? The Punters will Automatically ask where 'The other Two' are...

And Five are as easy to make as Three ...

I've already got four, although I have had one of them since 1985. I may need a few more though. :D

MFS only showed three in stock so I grabbed them and when I pick those up from Vince at Telford, I'll get the other two I want while I'm at it!
