They look great.
What is the advantage of the foamex? is it flexible? ding proof? ??

Hi Fred, firstly its affordable and helps keep costs down. Its very smooth and rigid which gives a nice solid surface for the vinyl. It doesn't rot or swell, is durable and flexiable with crumble free edges. Another advantage is that it can be trimmed down with a sharp craft knife to size if you want to place the base in a frame etc.

Obviously if you drop an anvil on it you're in trouble.. but generally its good durable stuff.

Hello, What length does your water base come in, and is it suitable for ships in 1:350 or is it aimed at 1:700 or even the Airfix in 1:600
Second question: what would postage in UK for one of those bases be.

Hi, as a rough rule of thumb, the standard stuff we do up to A3 size (297 x 420mm) although we will do custom sizes to order.
Postage UK is standard royal Mail £1.20 for the 1:72 and £3.00 for the larger A3 size.

Regards

Gary

Could you do PSP in both 1/72 and 1/48?
Light snow covering grass [showing in patches]?

Don't start me on suggestions! I could give you a long list! :joker:

Hi Fred... in answer to your question(s), we already do Marsden Matting in 1:72 and 1:144 but any scale is do-able! The base(s) we do are plain matting but its not a problem to edge them with mud, grass, dirt snow etc..... if need be.
Patchy light snow shouldn't be a problem either.

Blackpool - Mecca of the North! :rotfl:

I've discovered where you are now, and am looking forward to having a look and buying some of your display bases asap!
I'll introduce myself. All power to you and your work, it's great to hear of a local model business, I know where some of my pocket money is going! :yahoo:

Jim
