The atmosphere on this forum is generally very good but is degenerating into the sort of thing found elsewhere.  Well, you can keep it. I am receiving a lot of complaints right now, and I warn you all, I have started to moderate some members posts.  If you find yourself being moderated, then it will be no good coming to me as I won't listen because it will be too late. Along with moderation, you will not be able to start topics, edit topics, send PMs (except to Admins and Mods).  This is only a temporary measure and it will be lifted as soon as it has been proved that the individuals can be trusted. However, should anybody under moderation, step one inch out of line then they will be suspended or banned, irrespective of who they are. Don't think it is a bluff, because it isn't.

By the way, I do not appreciate publicity being given to ex-members of this forum who have hostile views on Airfix, ATF and myself. It is against the rules of this forum to give ex-members any publicity and anybody found doing so in future will be moderated or suspended.

Now, I am deadly serious about this and if you think these rules are not for you and you cannot meet the high standards of behaviour of this forum, then goodbye.

So, everybody, think before you post and let's get back to modelling.

Dave
