Looking at the Catalogue numbers of the BoBMF, I noticed that it is listed as 10998. One of the BoBMF sets I have is different to the one shown in the picture (it is the older release) and has a Catalogue Number of 10999. I have the Dambusters Set (603.Sqn Lancaster and Tornado) and this is listed as 10998. Which is correct

Hi Owen

I need to check but the BBMF has come out more than once. Basically the earlier -as per the history- will be the older set. The newer one with different decals and the Heller Hurricane IIc will have a different product number.

I'll need to look into it further.

Cheers!

Just thought I would add:

In 2005/06 the BBoMF was 10997 and Dambusters was 10998

In 2007 BBoMF was 10998

In 2008 BBoMF (with new Hurricane) is now 10600

My BoBMF Set listed as 10999 is this one, with the older boxing of the Hurricane: [EDIT- I just checked and this set was bought in April 2006]
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51D9QV83R7L._AA280_.jpg

The other, newer one that I have (which comes with a stand) is the 10600 listed one, like this:

And the 10998 Dambusters Set, has a box-top similar to this one:

What was the number on the 1990 release then? The Hurricane in that was Heller, so did they change it for another and then change it back for the 2008 release? I'm truly confused now.
