This sheet of 1/76 transfers (decals) is one of the latest three subjects from Dan Taylor Modelworks and my copy has just arrived.

It is specifically for the Low Power (LP) version of the AEC Dorchester Armoured Command Vehicle (ACV). Markings for seven ACVs from different phases of the war are included. Markings for Rommell's captured Max and Moritz are provided as well as their markings prior to capture.

My interest in these transfers stems from the fact that I am slowly building a Dorchester ACV using the Dan Taylor Modelworks conversion set for the Airfix Matador. I intend to depict 'Jenny the Creme Cracker', the ACV of the Commander REME, 7th Armd Div in northwest Europe in 1944. There is a photograph of this vehicle in the AEC publication "Contribution to Victory". Apart from the name 'Jenny the Creme Cracker' visible on the nose, there is a dart board stowed in the roof rack. I brought this to Dan's attention and he has included a dart board transfer in this sheet (circled at the top in the following photograph).

While the dart board makes an interesting stowage item, it would be possible to create an interesting diorama with Jenny's crew having a game of darts :)
Apart from the conversion set I'm using, this sheet of markings could be used on the Oxford or Firing Line 1/76 Dorchesters, the Extratech 1/72 Dorchester, or any scratchbuilt 1/76 or 1/72 Dorchesters. A second set of markings for the High Power (HP) version will be released shortly to go with another conversion set for the HP version.
Dan Taylor Modelworks is at http://www.dantaylormodelworks.com/
My only interest in Dan Taylor Modelworks is as a satisfied customer.
Cheers
David
