I have been modeling since as long as I can remember, but after searching what I really liked I realized I fell in love with the older kits... so I try to make the best of them.

Miles Magister, Turkish Air Force in the fifties
Model : 1/72 Frog, build out of the box, with the addition of etched seat belts.
Decals : Turkish markings : Turqoise Decals TD002 + number "5" from my reserve decal stash
Image

Royal Aircraft Factory SE5a, Chilean Air Force 1924
Model : 1/72 Revell, with detailed cockpit and rigging with streched sprue.
Decals : Bleu Rider BR417

Nice work Danny. I'm liking your take on the old Revell SE5a - one of my all-time favourite kits.

Lol.

Thanks guys. Here are some pictures of my earlier work.

M-12
Image
Model : 1/48 Bandai with figure from the Tamiya US Infantry set; decals from the spares box, mix of 1/72 and 1/35.

BRDM-1
Image
Model : 1/35 Arsenal with figure from one of the first Dragon figure sets ( Soviet tank crew ); decals from the spares box.

JS-3
Image
Model : 1/35 Tamiya, with Trumpeter tank commander, Dragon soldiers, Tamiya female tank crew and MK35 civilian

M557, Greek army
Image
Model : 1/35 Tamiya, decals are LM Decals

When I look at these models the construction seems so long ago... my painting skills where less, and I had ( and still have ) a lot to learn about figure painting.

Are these pictures upside down or is it just my computer showing them that way :?:
