Here's what I'll be building:
the 1/72 Sea Harrier from the Falklands set. I also splashed out on some extras - PE, a seat and some resin upgrades. The latter might have been a waste on money though - on a quick look I can't see much difference between the plastic originals and the 'upgrades'

No pressure then eh Feanor?
And there was me thinking I might just slap it together with tube glue in a few days as an antidote to the He177 and HMS Belfast

I could see the Pavla bits being an upgrade on some of the ropier SHAR kits available, but not on the Esci one, which is a cracking kit. About the only thing they save you doing is cutting out the relief doors on the intakes, and letting you cut out the flaps/ailerons on the on the wings in the most cack-handed manner possible as you don't have to keep the bits you're cutting out! _________________ Thunder & Lightnings - post-war British military aircraft |

I'm currently sat in a hotel room some 500 miles from my workshop! Back in action next weekend hopefully.

Nope! Nearly finished Belfast though.
Sadly I seem to have been too optimistic about the amount of free time available...
