Revell Swordfish.
An out of box build. Nice kit with few vices. Some tweaking of the struts to get them to touch top and bottom and a few overscale and inaccurate bits but for a £4 (now retails at £6) kit not bad at all and very enjoyable.

Spray painted primer and then hand painted the rest. Used knitting elastic, superglue and accelerator for the rigging.
Edited the picture to show it on it's dio base.
Bismarck from the Airfix Sink the Bismarck set. Sea is papermache on a cork notice board.

Very nice Redtail, nice work on the rigging. I shy from rigging so I donated my Swordfish the the Modelling show for a prize.

Have a go at rigging. It's fiddly but quite doable with a little patience. I use tweazers, dab some accelerator in the hole and dip the rigging into the glue. 7 times out of 10 the rigging wire sticks instantly. When it doesn't just curse a lot!
BTW this is my first attempt at rigging. I used knitting elastic.

New Tool Airfix Swordfish over the fleet 1939.
Very nice kit and goes together without too much fiddling.

Tamiya Ghoulash Cannone. A nice diversion from my Bomber Command.

I used oil paints for the horses to give tone. Enamels air brushed and paint brushed. A mix of filters and washes to weather. Tack is scratch built from plasticard and chain. Base is balsa with oil. An easy kit to build apart from the tack.

Airfix Halifax `Friday the 13th` OOB except for some detailing of the cockpit. A tired kit but makes into an acceptable model with a bit of care. Worst parts are the canopies. This aircraft landed damaged at my home airfield of Blackbush returning from a raid. Sanded all the rivet detail off. Painted with enamels and then wipe-washed with oils. Some washing with GW washes.

Updated with a better picture.
