Was at the Alberta Aviation Museum, in Edmonton, Alberta, the other day and picked up this from the gift shop.

It still has the small, green vial of glue, which is still liquid inside.

It was pretty decent kit for its day, simple on detail but pretty effective as a representation. Have fun with building it.

I've got a similar boxing in the ATC stash. Think I might have to 'rescue' it before some cadet gets his/her grubby paws on it.

Great find!  I've been wanting one of those for ages.  I keep missing out on eBay auctions.

Nice to see an old FROG kit! From what I seen on Ebay on second hand kit, the FROG ones are quite expensive to buy. Anyway, always nice to see a P-61 and it will be of great interest to follow your build!

I don't know if I'll build it or not. The main reason I bought it is because it's the first one I've seen since the early 70's. While I waited and saved my meager allowance, to buy the one in the local depertment store, someone beat me to it. It worked out okay in the end, as a couple of weeks later, they had an Airfix P-61 kit, so I bought that one.
