Has it really been nearly 2 years since we did a car GB?

I swore I'd never touch another one after the last GB but recently I've been buying cars again...

...and now I have that nice BMW M-1 that needs an opportunity to be built....

Maybe after summer? When the nights have begun to get shorter again?

Dan

I'd definitely be up for this, but I think if it does we need a LOT of warning as it's very hard to get hold of Airfix cars now. I'd probably be in with a Maserati or a Viva.

Airfix are releaseing a Science Museum Series set of three 1/32 scale cars, see here.

I have an MGB in the stash, but really don't know if I'll have the time to join in.

I'd be up for it as I have a few in the stash. Possibly a TR4A or Herald.

Aren't the reboxed Heller rally cars still available for those who would really struggle to find something?

That's true, I'd completely forgotten about those. Now I think about it the mini, MGB, & E type are all fairly widely available as well. I'm still going to try & find a viva or a maserati.

I have a Mercedes SL300 Gullwing.
And I’m really into cars at the moment, my fingers are itching...

All the best from Jesper.

Hello Dan.

About you idea regarding a car GB

Not to push, or make pressure
Are you going to make a poll to find a good starting day?
I think this would be a well visited GB.

To me, a start with nice summer weather conditions to spray paint outdoor, would be ideal.

All the best from Jesper.

Well the Rail GB runs from June to August, so I reckon this one can be a go-er anytime after July

Just a reminder that the Start Date Poll is still running. There are a number of you who said you'd be up for this GB but have not yet joined up!

Don't worry Owen.

Some people always show up late.
Otherwise it will be a little exclusive GB. Not that bad either.
