EEEEEEEEEEE, thats a Grand Name! 'Portfolio'

Me: I prefer to build 1/72nd aeroplanes but I'll tackle anything for fun.

Here's PM's Lippisch. I added a better shock cone into the nose and an exhaust grid, the cockpit got control panels and a control stick. I used some spare decals to liven up the scheme. Though Pm's decals are fine.

Indeed it is from one of the Academy vehicle sets. It came with a kubelwagen and Willys Jeep.

Thats my multi-use dio. I just replace the aeroplane when I want to show sumat different. The figs and ket are glued on but the aeroplane isn't.  :D

A little Landie I did up for somebody.
It was a secondhand Matchbox. It started out a red 90 SWB with rear side windows.  A bit of filler, total repaint and detailing. Done to match one owned by a friend of the person it was done for.
The little scene got a clear box lid over it.

That's nice, Fred. What's the blue item on the drivers seat?

A driver figure.
And, its just the way the photo makes it look but the Landie is all within the base area and not overhanging it - otherwise the clear lid of the case wouldn't have fitted!

A little scene made up from DG metal cars, some Prieser figs and some Airfix figs.
I call this 'Test 1' as thats what it depicts, Test 1 of an event my motor club do every spring and autumn.
I did an 'Alfred Hitchcock' in this. I put myself in three times. 1: driving the red Austin 7 Ulster near the hedge, 2: marking/marshaling, I do this when not driving, and 3: photographing, I do this when not marking/marshaling.

Another little dio. Based on a few different news photos. The abandoned Iraqi MiG 21 is Airfix with a few mods to make it like the one in the photos.

A few more of my model creations:

A 1940s Batmobile.
When the comic came out Batman had  a different car in virtually each issue.    This one is based on one of those.
Notice that the cartoonist didn't worry about how Batman was supposed to steer around corners!
This model started out as The Dick Tracey 1940 Ford Coupe by AMT in 1/24th.
Image

Quick! They're getting away Gromit lad!
Image

1/48th Fokker DR1, by Smer, improved parts from Aeroclub, and decals by me.
Image

1/48th Ansaldo SVA5 by Smer, improved parts by Aeroclub, decals again by me. Lots of work needed to get this kit decent, but worth it in the end. I only got it cos a friend has an Ansaldo car!
Image

A Silver Dream Machine, Better known as a Two Seat Hurricane IIC.
Image

And a Spitfire of 610 Squadron, July 1940. Note that DW-D has its letter size and placement unlike that of the rest of the squadron.
