This set is to convert the Aifrix Canberra B.(I)8 into the proposed EE P.12 all weather fighter.

The set comes in a clear blister pack and comprises a replacement radar nose, two Red Dean missiles, replacement wing tips and a Napier Double Scorpion rocket motor installation to fit onto the bomb bay doors. The resin is finely cast and will require minimum cleaning up on the missile fins.

Instructions are on two A4 sheets, most of which describes which pieces of the B.(I)8 are needed for the conversion and how to fit up the PR.9 wings. There is also a page of diagrams showing where to remove the wingtips, line up the PR.9 wings and fit the rocket pack.

I'll be seeing how well it fits soon as I'll be using it in this yera's What-if Group Build.

I was interested in this set but couldn't justify sacrificing two kits to make one conversion.

It does say that it can be based entirely on the B.(I)8 but using the PR.9 wings would result in a more 'accurate' rendition. As it only existed on paper I suppose the choice is with the modeller.
