So here are the firsts pics of the famous british aircrafts carrier Hms Ark Royal.I try to depict this ship during the mediterranean period ,just a little time before her lost by a uboot torpedoes...
Actualy i am waiting for the Wem set for upgradded this venerable kit.As usual I have tried to improve the basic model with the usual materials before proceeding to photoetched.See you soon for the next...

Hello my friends,
One 2 months ago my little old "jimmy" is gone ,a cruel and   terrible disease has prevailed in the 15 days. I would like to introduce our new companion, Darwin, 8 weeks and already loving models kits as his master.

Hello my friends,some littles news.
The fire forests season has begun here in the south of france and I have much less free time for models .... Here are the latest photos of the Ark Royal building.Improvements and the conversion is completed and the model is waiting  to receive the WEM stuf.. I have also decided  to not use the aircraft  of the  airfix kit because they  are too simplistics ...My choice is to use a set of aircraft to the 700th resine range  from a french artisant.
See you soon for the next.

Hello the fellowship, the assembly continues with the installation of set WEM.The level of detail is great and gives a very interesting and realistic  look..Few efforts and the Ark will join his natural element. Here are the latest pictures taken this morning just before going to work.

See you for the next, amitiés Rémy

Absolutely fantastic work!!

I'm actually holding off on building ship kits at the moment. I'm waiting until you start building a kit that I have in the stash so I can follow your progress.

Ayup Remy- looking superb with all that brass and detailing.
We are hearing about many fires in France and Spain so I expect that you will be very busy. Please be careful!

Hello Stu,we have actualy a lot of bigs fires in the south France and the wind blow too so as you says we are very busy .We had 4 wounded and burned trucks, it was very difficult.I'm fine, a little tired but no injuries or burns ..   I hopes to re start  the assembly of the ark very quickly.
mister Spudgun, what are the kits you have in your stash? May be i have built one of them and  you have not seen the post on the Atf forum At this time i have built the follow kits:bismark, iron duke ,ajax, welshman, mauretania dazzle, graf spee, all the destroyers set, hood, suffolk and in progress Ark royal and Prinz Eugen(coming soon) I have in my stash sharnshorst, nelson, belfast, warspite, repulse,KGV so still much work ahead and of course all my scratch projects.
Amitiés rémy

Remy, I have a majority of the ship kits you mention. However I have a special interest in HMS Iron Duke. I already have this kit and the WEM etch for it. Another kit of interest is HMS Warspite (Although I don't have it yet). With both of these kits due for a re-release this year, one of your master classes in building them could possibly be of interest to ATF members. Doing HMS Warspite in her Jutland fit would be fantastic!
