Nothing wrong with you having 20 pages! Anyway, you can reduce the pictures to a smaller size than I have done or you could just have links. It's up to you - and you can take your time......

Yes, of course, Luke.

The idea of the portfolio is for you to display a picture of each of your models you want to show us. You are under no obligation to show pictures of those you don't want us to see!

I just displayed all of my models (including the "dodgy" ones) because there are so few. Perhaps in time, I might remove those "dodgy" pictures.

When trying to look at various portfolios I am getting no pictures appearing, just the text.
Any ideas?

Mick

There is no reason why the portfolios should be any different from any other forum on ATF, Mick. I have just had a look at a few just now and they were okay. Were there any ones in particular that were causing problems? Sometimes people post pictures that are then deleted from their hosting site and so they do not appear. Even pictures posted in the ATF Gallery get deleted after a few months if not accessed (controlled by forum hosts, not me).

I just discovered this "portfolio" thing.  What a great idea!  This site just keeps getting better and better!  Now that I've learned what the little "flower" icon on my camera means (closeups) I'm ready to go!

The mind of Minolta (or Fuji Film).  A flower?  It means "closeup mode" of course!

Yeah.  Sure it does.

You need to copy & paste the IMG box from Photobucket (not the URL link)

Hey all

Quick question, I have two models I have already posted individually into my portfolio, that I have used in a diorama.  Would I also be able to post one picture of the diorama as a whole?

I can't see everybodies pics!   :( Mainly it is Dave's and Ratch's pics that I can't see  , is there some other web host you use that my PC won't read for whatever reason????

Of course it could just be my rubbish PC here at work, I haven't cheked from home (can't till April) but it may be OK from there?

Any ideas?

You could be right as I have the same problem when I'm on the work's PC.

That seems feasible but why do some get through and some not? A bit baffled  :? but it is no great shake, just a shot in the dark really

Maybe some are getting through because they might be hosted on the site and others aren't getting through because they are hosted on other sites like photbucket

Cheers Topgun, I had a little experiment and some of the pic hosting sites themselves are blocked by work's server thingy so I imagine that the pics from them will themselves be blocked.

Will have to watch the threads and when I get home (to Hampshire as it happens Topgun!) have a look at the bits I was after.

Thanks all :thumb:

It would be helpful if, when posting pictures in your portfolio, if you add a description
Whilst the model may be very familiar to the builder, the casual viewer may have difficulty identifying the kit
