Hi everybody, just discovered this forum. It's like reading old Airfix magazines!
I started modelling when I was 8. My first model was the little Golden Hind in a plastic bag with pre-molded plastic waves.
I kept on modelling  ( I'm 55 now )
I'm interested in small scale military stuff. Specially British WW2.
Used the Airfix models for conversions and I already discovered lots of conversion ideas on the forum.
I also build 54 mm historical figures ( Dutch army troughout the ages)
Using the fabulous Collector series.
In future I will post some pics of my work.
Now back to the forum to read more
I'm headmaster on a primary school and live in the Netherlands. Anyone else on this forum from Holland?

Paul

Hi Paul
welcome to ATF

one thing bothers me.  If you are the headmaster of a Primary School, how come you have the time and energy left over for modelling????

You're in the right place.  The focus here is on the spirit of modeling circa 1968... a very good year, despite what the history books say!
