I know we haven't even started the Seaplane GB yet, but time to ponder what we're going to do after that.
We've had medium bombers suggested, plus 50s-60s Cold War jets.
Medium bombers would include any Airfix two/three (propeller) engined bomber aircraft of the WW2 (more or less) period.
50s-60s Cold War jets would be any jet that served during that period.
Both would be any subject, any scale, just so long as it's Airfix and fits in with the GB theme.
This poll will run for 14 days from 13th June. _________________ Cheers,

Cold war jets, but only after medium bombers

Medium bombers please. I've had a Hampden in my stash for several years now. _________________ Collectable kits built here. Baggies, blisters or boxed. You collect 'em, but I'll build 'em. |

I dunno - you give 'em a choice of heads I win, tails you lose and they still aren't happy!
What's the point in giving 'em a choice if they don't appreciate it?

Doesn't bother me, I'll only be in for the medium bombers anyway. _________________ Bubbly! |

Well I'm going to be in with the Dornier 217 Mistel and a Mirage F.1 and it looks like Paua'll be in with a Lockheed Hudson and an F-14. Assuming it all goes ahead, of course!

I prefer my wars hot and I don't really fancy medium bombers much either.....How about a few more categories?
Mud Movers - Close support aircraft through the ages?
Pressed Into Service - Civilian aircraft in mititary garb?
Aces High - Aircraft of the worlds greatest fighter pilots?
Just some thoughts, all the best |

yea like a Movie Jet build... that will cover quite a few f14 f18 f15 f16 intruder to name just a few...just a shame airfix is not up with some of them models add a twist of being painted in the movie you selected colors. _________________ ACHTUNG-MOSQUITO

Gollys! This is just like voting for...
Nevermind. I tried to vote for jets because I actually have one in the stash (Airfix Banshee)-- but now that I think on it I do have a medium bomber-- a Marauder-- since I wasn't here for the Marauder group build, I guess I could do that... but the number of Airfix kits in the stash is dwindling. I have the Marauder, the Banshee, a Meteor, a Hunter and a Sopwith Pup. _________________ “Build what YOU want, the way YOU want to, and above all, have fun.”

Didn't Airfix release kits from the film Top Gun where the Northrop Freedom Fighter was released as "The Mig"? _________________ Collectable kits built here. Baggies, blisters or boxed. You collect 'em, but I'll build 'em. |

Hmmm, interesting. I wonder what the 'take-up' would be for a film version aircraft GB would be? _________________ Collectable kits built here. Baggies, blisters or boxed. You collect 'em, but I'll build 'em. |

Well I still want to do a Murphy's War Grumman Goose Duck and it looks like the Seaplane GB will be long over before I get one, so I'd be interested.
All the best
BTW - Presumably if you pick something like 'Battle of Britain' for your film, you would have quite a wide selection of aircraft to choose from! quite
EDIT - WATERFOWL ERROR #23!
