Progress of my builds will be recorded here.

I'll be building a defiant, a couple of hurricanes, & possibly a mossie as well.

Hurricane, too many defiants around atm ;-) and far too easy out of the box.  A black hurri is on my list in diecast but too expensive on the bay it seems. Plastic it is for me so id like to see your version as inspiration George ;-)

Thanks Bob, it's wonky as I've just placed it on for the benefit of the photo.

Speedy George!

Mind you it doesn't take very long to knock together a Hurri or two.

Thanks chaps; All done! First of many builds for this GB.
Here's the last few progress photos & a finished picture. More in the gallery.
Here it is after it dried.

Laying the wing roundels onto a wet layer of Klear didn't work out well, so I left it to dry overnight & finished it off before work this morning.

The finished article!

If you'd waited I could have sent you a wheel bay (which reminds me, I have to send a couple to a friend ...)

Thanks Brews, but to be honest it'd be a little wasted on me! I very rarely look at the underside of my models, (they sit on a shelf in my old room at my parents' house.) Also, in a way, I quite like the more basic kits as they remind me of builds I did when I was a lot younger... But then I'm odd like that!  It's a very kind offer though, thankyou.
