Hello
I have recently started an Operation Overlord diorama featuring Omaha beach and wondered what colour or mix of colours would be best for the sea, a blue would be the obvious option however the sea is rarely ever blue.

Any ideas
Thanks,

Sam

I would suggest googling for images of beaches would be a good starting point and remember that at the interface between the water and the sand the water would be pretty colourless, apart from the effect of disturbed sand if figures and vehicles are moving through it.

I tried a few things on this Sea Assault kit, I was pleased with the result but there are many ways to go about it. A bit of experimenting is good, just don't use one flat colour.
