My main interest is 1/72nd plastic figures (ancient / Medieval) with one or two metal ones included but I do occasionally build AVF`s but no way reaching  the standard I´ve seen here.  After recently getting a recommendation for the ATF my long lost passion for Airfix figures has been re-ignited, so much so,  that my target is to paint every pose of every figure set ever made by Airfix...I hope I live long enough :)  :)

Cheers
Paul

That APU looks great - where is it from? - film, tv show etc.?

Great idea with the cassette case and I love the idea of using tank tracks as ammo belts - perfect

Those figures are superb Paul. What kind of paints do you use, and how do you get them to adhere to that slimy polythene?

Thanks   :) I use basic Hobby shop acrylics mostly. They are pretty much the same as the "specialist" brand named paints.

The figures  are first covered with undiluted black Acrylic. This means it´s a bit thick and has to be brushed over a couple of times as it´s drying to get a complete but thin coverage without covering the finer details.(with the cowboys, the details weren´t much of a problem  :) )

Excellent work on the planes as well as the figures.

You've painted the High Chaparral figures ?!! Superb !!! The cardiac arrest figures amongst collectors worldwide will soar. The figures were manufactured to be displayed not stored so good for you  :D  :Clapping:    :notworthy: .
