Another returnee to the hobby after far too long a break. Thirty plus years!!! I blame Mrs Phantom for rekindling the flame. I have been pleasantly surprised as to how the hobby has grown in the time I've been away. I don't think I ever used any sanding techniques, masking or anything similar. The hairy stick ruled along with enamel paints.

What with the aquisition of a good airbrush, acrylic paints, weathering materials and online resources such as the ATF my confidence grows with every build. As you can see I tend to build things that fly.........

Comments and constructive critism always welcome.

Great work Phantom on your models, excellent start to your portfolio 8-), love the Lightning 8-), what scale and whose kit?

I've said this before in other posts but could you please include Manufacturer, kit no. and the scale, as it's hard to appreciate your work without knowing your start point.

Keep up the great work and welcome back to the hobby, you've started with guns blazing!!!

My bad! :(
They are all Airfix except for the Reaper (Revell). The Lightning is the 1.48 F2A variant.
And thanks for the positive feedback peeps!

You have an artist's eye. But the photo of the Bf-109E doesn't do it justice! (Having seen your other photos of this one).
