Another of the range of Saturn variants proposed to NASA during the ‘60s, the INT-15 was based on the Saturn 1B with either a 0’, 10’, or 20’ stretch of the first stage plus eight solid boosters based on the Minuteman missile, the effect of which was to raise the payload from the standard 1B’s 18,600kg up to a maximum of 26,000kg for the most powerful version. Four of the boosters would be ignited at5 launch, while the other 4 would be ignited at altitude after the first 4 had burned out. The INT-14 was similar, but with 4 boosters instead of 8.

This model is of the 0’ stretch version, and uses the standard Airfix 1B 1st stage ( my kits for the stretched versions use a resin/Perspex 1st stage ).

Very nice Martin. That's quite a Saturn collection you've got there.
