OK, here's a poll for a Science Fiction group build. This includes all of Airfix's science fiction kits, although some might be rare. They include

Angel Interceptor
Orion III
Stratos-4 TSR.2MS
Stratos-4 Advance TSR.2MS
Doctor Who Welcome Aboard
Doctor Who Dalek Encounter
Eagle Transporter
Hawk Spacecraft
Starcruiser I
Starcruiser Interceptor
Cosmic Clipper
Flying Saucer
Space Warriors
X-Wing Fighter
X-Wing Fighter (snap)
A-Wing Fighter
B-Wing Fighter
Millennium Falcon
Rebel Snowspeeder
TIE Interceptor
Slave 1
Speeder Bike
AT-AT
AT-ST
Imperial Shuttle Tydirium
Encounter with Yoda on Dagobah
Rebel Base
Jabbas Palace
Battle on Ice Planet Hoth
Moonraker Space Shuttle

The Star Wars and Space 1999 kits were also issued by MPC, so that could be an alternate source. If I've missed any Airfix SF kits, please let me know.

I'd go for the Angel Interceptor personally as I have 2 left to build (1 will be a whif build) and I may try doing a diorama including them. It also seems to be one of the easiest to come by

I have one in my stash. :thumb: It is the only one from the list I can find here in Denmark.

I have both the AT-AT and the AT-ST and would chose one of the two, depending on when the GB is to be run.

I would like to build the 1/144 Saturn V in combination with a second Airfix Sci-fi kit - the Saturn V would not be built as a Saturn V - would this be acceptable?

My vote is in. I've got a few Angel Interceptors still to build.

In the ansence of Steven, if I end up as GB leader (as I suggested the build I may be the victim...) then I'd be happy to allow it.

Uh-oh! I said 'if' so if there's someone out there witha burning desire to lead then don't let me stand in the way! I'm happy to do so! Looks like there's a leaning towards something within the next 6 months...

Captain F - so long as you end up 51% Airfix, no worries.

I anticipate 90% Airfix, 5% plastic card and filler and 5% blood, sweat and tears. :D

Fantastic - as soon as an Admin has set up the Usergroup we'll be on our way with a poll for the actual start date.

The start date poll is now live. You must register to join the group.

To do so;
Click on "User Control Panel" [top right of your screen]
Click on "Usergroups" in the menu on the left
Find "GB 2015 - Sci-Fi" and select the round box to the right,
Then go to the bottom of the page,
Select "Join Selected" and click on Submit.

I'll then approve your membership asap and you'll be able to vote.

Dan
