CA and I will be in San Diego for a short vacation / conference.

USS Midway,
San Diego Air and Space Museum
and
The USMC Museum
are top of my "to-do" list, followed by the 150 or so craft breweries in the area.

Happy to take "request" photos.

You're welcome to do it, but I expect you to pay your own way :)

Sorry thought it might be part payment. Seriously though, when I went to San Diego, back in 02, there was a Square Rigger, across the bay. If going near it, could you take a pic or two? Thanks,
Mike

Have fun!
The USS Midway is an example of how short sighted the UK government is. Our last "carrier", HMS Illustrious, is being towed away for scrap this week. The sale price a paltry £2.1 million. Wouldn't take long to recoup that, and the other investment required, if it had been used to form a similar tourist attraction.

I really have a week of leisure, so there's every chance - if it's still there.
